An item with a condition grade of C has had extensive use. It will show significant signs of wear. It won't be pretty (definitely not a gift for mom). It will have a great number of scratches and wear marks on the front and back of the unit. The LCD on the item will likely have some scratches or wear. These scratches will be visible in regular use. The LCD will be fully functional and will not be gouged or otherwise impaired. There may be some dents, cracks in the casing or some gouges.
These units are only recommended for someone looking for the lowest price and who is not concerned with cosmetic appearances. Note PDAs and MP3s players and some phones can be wrapped in glove-like cases (purchased separately) to conceal most of the wear. Below are representative pictures of extensive use units.
