In the 1990's it was hard to find a big name rock act that wasn't from Seattle, now it's just hard to find any of those bands. The exception to that is Pearl Jam, who are still rocking venues worldwide. Part of their longevity comes from the fact that unlike their peers, nobody in the band died...and their ability to adapt to the rapidly changing music industry.

Nolan Bushnel has an impressive resume. He invented the game that started the whole gaming madness, Pong. He started a little company called Atari with just $500 and sold it for $28 million just six years later. He also started the Chuck E. Cheese franchise. We owe singing mice and ball pits in pizza restaurants to him.

Pro skateboarder Tony Hawk, will join the NBA's Dwayne Wade as celebs with their own Sidekicks. I mean, I am sure there are plenty of celebs who own Sidekicks (if they're still using them though, is another question all together) but D-Wade and Hawk have versions of the phone designed specifically for them.

Now the words coming out of his mouth are "I want to make movies based on video games," or something close to that. Last week, the highly anticipated game from Nintendo, Wii Fit hit shelves. Gamers got their first exercise in weeks, getting off of their couches and running to the store to be the first to get their hands on the game. Now that they own the game, they are going to have to do some more physical activity considering the game really is just a big workout video disguised as a video game.

I can sleep easier that I know a movie starring the Jonas Brothers is coming our way. It's not just a movie, it's a 3-D movie. When the technology of 3-D cinema was invented by some dude who makes a whole lot more money than I do, this is exactly what he had in mind. Horrible singers singing horrible songs in front of people who would die to get a chance to see these kids in person but can't afford concert tickets.

The Bourne Conspiracy, a video game about the trilogy of Bourne movies, is headed its way to video game stores everywhere. It's going to be just like the movies, all the amnesia and guns and shooting of the three action-packed blockbusters - except for one minor thing. That small, tiny little detail that most gamers probably won't even notice is that the guy who played Jason Bourne, a little known actor named Matt Damon isn't in the game.
