Bling Bling: iPhone Case Will Set You Back 20 Grand |

 I recall last year's MacWorld when the iPhone was introduced thinking there was no way I would ever drop that kind of cash on a phone. Then I saw one and had one in my hand and thought food and rent weren't as important as me owning this phone. It does everything, life will be easier if I have to shoplift from the local 7Eleven to keep myself fed, it doesn't matter because I can read my emails and listen to my playlist all from one little handheld device.
At this year's MacWorld, we got a glimpse of a $20,000 iPhone case by Case-Mate. Read that sentence again. Are you back? Ok let's try to move on. The case is made with 42 diamonds, totaling 3.5 carats, and is embedded in 18k gold.
Remember that story I told you about putting food and rent off just to own an iPhone? That's not going to happen with this case. I have never owned a case for any phone, nevermind a case with 42 diamonds.
Our rapper friends however, might get one for each day of the week. I can't prove this but I hear Diddy has five and they are starting a reality show on MTV next month to see which one he brings to the Grammys.
