Today the city of Brotherly Love decided to not move forward with their big idea to provide the entire city with free Wi-Fi. Apparently they were too busy eating cheesesteak sandwiches and booing at the Phillies to realize that the project was going to cost more money than they could budget for.
How awesome would it be to navigate the information superhighway without having to pay a dime. That sounds like a sound investment, putting money towards something the residents of the city, even Will Smith, could actually use. Meanwhile, a statue of a fictional boxing legend remains one of the city's biggest tourist attractions.
Ay Yo Adrian! I can't get online, what happened to that free internet thing? Sadly, Rocky that free internet thing was too expensive. At least you can still go outside and see that statue of yourself though, right.
