Last week, the highly anticipated game from Nintendo, Wii Fit hit shelves. Gamers got their first exercise in weeks, getting off of their couches and running to the store to be the first to get their hands on the game. Now that they own the game, they are going to have to do some more physical activity considering the game really is just a big workout video disguised as a video game.

Richard Simmons is probably sweating to his oldies right now, he's got competition in the form of a video game. Just might be time for Richard to hang up the red and white stripe shorts and the glitter and the afro and just call it a day. It's hard to imagine a world without Richard Simmons shouting things to the beat of K.C. and the Sunshine Band but the growth and popularity of Wii Fit may just lead us into this unchartered territory.  

Somewhere there is a waiting room with the likes of Simmons, Tony Little and Billy Blanks just shaking their heads wondering how the mighty have fallen...to a video game.
