I'm no chemist. Really, I'm not. You may have already known that though. Despite my lack of a chemistry degree, I do know a valuable compound when I see one. Silicone gets a nod from me for my MVC (most valuable compound).
Why do I give Silicone such high marks? Because Silicone helps make good things better and things that aren't so good, fun to look at.
Take Victoria Beckham for example. Without Silicone in her life, or in her body I should say, photographers wouldn't be chasing her down for a photo. Still nobody wants to talk to her, but she's still fun to look at.
Aside from improving Posh's camera-friendliness, Silicone can also make your good phone a great phone by protecting it from all the falls and spills it will take, thanks to OtterBox - makers of some of the finest protective cases for mobile devices.
OtterBox features Thermal-Formed sheet, Polycarbonate shell and of course a Silicone skin that wraps around it all to
absorb shock.
OtterBox will keep your new BlackBerry Bold running smoothly when you drop it after spotting a breathetaking chemically upgraded female across the street. Now, thats a moment made possible by Silicone.
