On the wonderful world of the Internet, everyone wants to know what everyone else is doing and how they are feeling. Everyone includes famous people. But we don't want to find out from Perez Hilton what the famous people are doing, we want them to tell us...in 140 characters or less.
Fortunately, famous people like Shaquille O'Neal, Luke Wilson and Sara Bareilles have jumped on the Twitter bandwagon and are documenting their lives for all their followers.
What has following famous people taught us? Mostly that they are pretty much just like us when it comes to Twitter. Their lives are pretty dull, they don't update all the frequently and they misspell things just like we do.
One of the most active celebs on the Twitter front is none other than M.C. Hammer. Yes, that M.C. Hammer.
The man who gave us "U Can't Touch This" and parachute pants has over 12,000 followers and has sent 1,300 updates. His followers get to read about Hammer's take on the economy, music, boxing and his surprisingly busy life. Well it can't be that busy if he is sending 1,300 updates.
Unfortunately, O.J. Simpson is not using Twitter. He could make a killing on it (Sorry poor choice of words). I'd love to know what life behind bars is like. I guess we'll just have to wait 9 to 16 years to hear from him.
Tek Swank is no celebrity but we are on Twitter. Follow me .
