Yesteday he became the first Black President, today the word is that he will become the first Blackberry toting President. In the days following his election, there was discussion that President Barack Obama would have to part ways with his beloved Blackberry once he took office.

Several news sources, today however are reporting that Obama will be able to use a Blackberry. 

It won't be the old Blackberry that he was spotted using through the campaign, he will be receiving a brand new handheld device. Just like all those gun carrying secret service agents who follow him around everywhere he goes, Obama's new Blackberry will be very protected featuring all the security encryption needed for the most powerful man in the free world. 

While he is getting to keep his Blackberry, reports are saying that he will no longer be able to communicate via instant message. That's a shame, he could have brought peace to the world simply through using emoticons.
