It's the end of the world here in Los Angeles. No date has invoked my fear into an entire state the way July 1, 2008 has, not even the Y2K scare caused more uneasiness.
Tomorrow marks the beginning of California's new hands-free law. Driving with your phone to your ear will now be illegal.
The Hollywood power agent, the spoiled rotten young diva who has enough to worry about behind the wheel trying to avoid TMZ's cameramen crashing into them, and everyone else who lives in Tinsel Town will have to put the phone down.
Fortunately there are options besides you know, not picking up the phone like Jawbone or Sound ID which try hard to let you rock the bluetooth without looking like a guy who deserves a punch in the throat.
